went to vinyl last night for Jaime's b-day!! after much anticipation and many delays calgary's new club finally opened! - its prettty sweeet, & im sure i will enjoy it even more when i am not the DD haha!

• d-bag miniwheat with his "sweet" jacket and "sweet" hairstyle.. and most of all his "sweet" strut.. you look COOL.

• little b drunk with his friend
• wanted- soooo goood
• boys + music = loveeeeeee

no a+ for our tie dyes! =(

as promised, i said i would post pictures of -supposed to be freaking sweet- tie dye projects...

..but rinsed out our tiedye! and we were sadly disappointed for more than a few reasons :

1. our shirts has random spots of colour.. no "tie dyes"
2. we missed them memo you need to dip almost if not the entire shirt in.. result: mostly white shirts with a few splotches of colour
3. DO NOT use food colouring, no matter how desperate.. it rinses out =(
4. do not go for the cheap elastic bands, as the colour just soaks through.. no cool patterns
5. no matter how excited you are, wear gloves! the only thing still remaining coloured today = our hands.

i guess we get an E for effort?! no worries, we've got this in the bag for next time!

tie dye, cheesy horrors & much rather be..

ahh up so early at work this morning! and im soo tired!- thank goodness it's only a half shift today! Wicked Friday night with Shann, spent tie-dying, and watching old 90's "scary" movies.. such as the Final Destination series!.. super cheesy, & pretty lame, i was however a little scared to drive home alone later. (dont laugh im a wuss). Hope your Friday night was as good as mine =]. I'm interested to see what Saturday has in storeee! (tie dye finished product pictures coming soon!)


p.s. i'd much rather be crawling into your bed to snuggle, than be here at the spa so bright and early.

today at work me and shannon talked more about our camping trip that we are planning for the near future... ok so i know may/june isn't 'near' but the last few months have flown by! and i think march and april are going to aswell! ahh i love summer.. im an outdoor girl for sure! i love summer sports, and the lake and most of all CAMPING! cant wait sembo! its gunna be amazinggggggggggg

ALSO... if you were wondering why this post is called 'bears say rawr' its becuase im totally going to sleep in this sleeping bag...

the heart above my bed

so those of you that have seen my room, you may remember that 3/4 of my walls were covered top to bottom in pictures. there was pretty much a picture of me and everyone that i have ever been friends with.. with pictures dating all the way back to... grade 7? anyways, you also may remember my post about defragmenting the un-important people in my life.. and i performed a similar process in my bedroom! instead of keeping pictures up of people that don't matter, and apparently never did, and people that have tried to break my heart, possibly succeeded, possibly not, i only kept those of the ones who i know i can trust with my heart, and that have and will always be there... i made all the pictures into a shape of a heart above the head of my bed, and i found it very interesting that i came across a photo in a magazine after i went through with this bedroom make-over that looks just like mine. anyways, now only the people that matter hang above my bed and close to my heart, and dont worry, there are some duplicates up there, so if you walk into my life and make a difference, ill be able to find a spot for you. <3

while im at it, i feel a long overdue tribute is in order..

to those in my heart, & above my head:

there are a few special people who have always been there for as long as we've been friends, whether its been 19 years, or not even one, you have never turned your back on me.

none of you will ever know how much you mean to me. i didnt even know how much you guys meant to me until recent events made me think about what my life would be without you. i would be nothing, each one of you makes my life everything it is. theres nothing i love more then just sitting and talking with any one of you..you guys are my everything and i just want you to know how much i love you. you have a permanent spot in my heart above my head. thank you.

a much needed inspiring moment..

today while i was out for lunch with a good friend, we noticed the cutest pair of old men playing board games at their table.. such cute innocent fun.. somewhat creepy that i took a picture.. but i did it just for you! and it put a big smile on our faces! so hopefully it puts one on yours too! =D





i hope i have a few good lifelong friends that i can count on to play board games with at subway!

let me introduce myself..

creating a new blog comes with picking a blog title. its harder than you would think! it's like if you had a chance to give yourself a nickname that everyone would know you by, what would you pick?! i suppose one could put a little time and effort into thinking of a good one - not me though. i decided i wanted to start this thing, and when i want something i want it now! i was talking to my good pal jared and told him about this.. and how i had to think of a name for my new blog.. he for some reason assumed that the word " blog" needed to be in the title... he came up with a few clichés like " gone blogging" and "rather be blogging" but i informed him those names were already in use so he also came up with some things that were quite out of the ordinary.. such as " id rather eat a blogroll" becuase he was thinking of egg rolls? and "blog fo sho" or " hit my blog spot".. i don’t think i will ever understand the thoughts that go through boys heads!

right.. ok well thanks Jared for your 'help'! in the end this is what we came up with..
